The coating on the stator vanes in a flotation machine is subject to abrasive load caused by the air/suspension flow and acting on the top part of the vane facing the rotor. In prior art, the coating placed on the vane was stationarily joined, serving single use only. In the invention a detachable coating (6) has been developed, which is placed like a sock upon the stator vane (4) and secured in place with the aid of a cover member (8). This securing, or locking, is accomplished with the aid of a groove (7) machined in the stator vane and of tooth-like projections (9) provided on the cover member. A locally worn-out coating may be detached and either turned through 180 DEG or inverted and put back in its place.

The invention relates to the flotation enrichment of minerals, in particular to units of fotatation machines or other apparatuses in which pulp is mixed.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the life of the blade by ensuring more uniform wear of the coating.

The mixing unit of the flotation machine includes an impeller 1 with a shaft
2 and stator 3. Each stator blade
3 consists of vertically mounted around the impeller 1 with the shaft 2 plates 4, mounted on the plate 5, put on the plates 4 shells 6 and locking elements 7, made in the form of claws. The shells 6 and the locking elements 7 are made of wear-resistant elastic material. On the end edge of the plates 4 there are grooves 8, and on the walls of the locking element 7 there are tooth-like protrusions 9 corresponding in shape and dimensions to the grooves 8. Auxiliary elements 10 can be made on the shells 6 to facilitate removal and donning of the shells 6 on the plates 4.
The stator blade works as follows
To bring the blade into working condition, the plate 4 is put on the shell 6 and the assembly is closed off from the end by the locking element 7. A reliable locking of the shell 6 is provided

Thus, the application of the invention allows in 2-3 ra for increasing the service life of the shells of the stator blades of the flotation machine.

Invention Formula
The stator blade of the flotation machine, which includes a plate, an elastic coating and a locking element, is characterized in that, in order to increase the service life of the blade by providing a more uniform wear of the elastic coating,
the latter is made in the form of a removable shell, grooves are made in the front part of the plate, and the locking element is made in the form of a cover made of elastic material with tooth-like projections, with the protrusions of the crest made with the possibility of entering the plate grooves.
